Irena Genesis Metal Fury pre-orders are back

Recently we mentioned the problem we had with our Stripe account which forced us to temporarily close the pre-orders of Irena Genesis Metal Fury.
As a reminder, Stripe deactivated our account by mistake and issued several refunds.
Today, we are happy to announce that we were able to regain a valid Stripe account, which means that pre-orders are now open on Backerkit.
Be careful though, pre-orders will be open until September 10, 2021. So if you are planning to pre-order Irena Genesis Metal Fury, now is the time!
If you have been refunded by Stripe during the refund phase, please note that you will be charged soon so that we can validate your order. If you have any problems or questions, please contact us.

Pre-orders of Irena Genesis Metal Fury temporarily suspended on BackerKit

We regret to inform you that pre-orders of Irena Genesis Metal Fury temporarily suspended on BackerKit because we are currently experiencing a problem with our account on the Stripe platform which has been blocked due to a problem with our phone number verification.
As a result, it is not possible to accept payments for pre-orders of Irena Genesis Metal Fury.
Stripe has also canceled payment for many pre-orders, but when the situation allows it, payments should be made again to validate the pre-orders.
Despite a large number of requests, we have been forced to block pre-orders on BackerKit until we have a fully functional Stripe account. Refunds also apply to anyone who added additional items to their initial pledge on Kickstarter.
We are doing our best to get the situation back to Stripe and allow you to pre-order a copy of Irena Genesis Metal Fury for all the people who couldn't participate to our Kickstarter campaign.
The White Ninja Studio team apologizes for the inconvenience and we hope that more of you will pre-order our game as soon as we resolve the issue.
Shipping Refunds and Variation Change

After receiving several questions by messages and comments we noticed there are some confusions regarding shipping credit for US based buyers who have remaining credit, and our offer for Free shipping on a second Metal Core Tier. To clarify this we have 2 points below:
1. Any Credit for those who over paid during the initial credit will be refunded after surveys are complete.
2. Because of the confusion we have expanded our offer for free shipping on a second copy to any add on copy of the game for all Kickstarter Backers. This will mean you can get a second copy with no additional shipping costs, but any after will be per unit based. After surveys are completed we will refund the shipping to anyone this applies to.
3. We added 2 variations (Red/Blue) with the partnership of Mega Cat Studios and have decided to allow any backer to choose to switch their Kickstarter Standard edition to this if they choose. Please message use directly for this change so we can mark it down.

Kickstarter survey and pre-order

Thanks to you, the Kickstarter campaign for Irena Genesis Metal Fury was a real success and we are very happy to be able to make a new shoot'em up for the SEGA Genesis. Since the end of the campaign, we have continued to work on the different levels which for the most part have land-based environments with destructible elements. We have also improved the visual rendering with a new color palette for each graphical element and modifications on different sprites to optimize the video memory. In addition, new enemies have been created to add more diversity during the progression.
In a previous news, we mentioned the appearance of a larger screen on the cockpit of the Rayden MG-323 and we decided to use it to display the video telecommunication between Celina and the different protagonists such as Kayshan and Valkun, which will be an opportunity to learn a little more about the mission objective and the story.
In parallel, we continue to prepare the new demo we announced a few weeks ago which will naturally benefit from all the improvements we have made so far. Everyone who participated in the Kickstarter campaign will be able to download a special version that will include an extra full level.
In addition, on April 28th, 2021 we will start sending out backer survey's to confirm pledges, add additional items, confirm shipping address's, and total shipping cost. All survey's will be sent by April 30th, 2021 so don't forget to check your mailbox!
We will also be opening a Pre-order page for standard editions of the game on May 1, 2021 for those who missed the original kickstarter.

Digital painting live stream with RedKeas

Before the end of Irena Genesis Metal Fury's Kickstarter campaign, our concept artist RedKeas will show you her work on YouTube with a digital painting live stream on February 9, 2021 at 12 p.m. ET on her official channel.
Other members of the White Ninja Studio team will be there to answer your questions about the game in English and French.
